Sports Surgery
Sports surgery covers soft tissue reconstructive surgery such as ligament and tendon surgery, chondroplasty or cartilage reparative surgery/transplantation.
Many of these procedures are arthroscopic or “key hole”.
Sports injuries lead to cartilage defects, ligament and tendon ruptures and joint instabilities. The above mentioned procedures aim to restore function and kinematics.
The ultimate goal is to return to the pre-injury performance/professional level bearing in mind the focus on post-op rehabilitation, which plays a vital role in all my procedures.
